Lesson Plans for Social Studies (virus protection) 2020

While we are out:You will read the Jr Scholastic for the month of Jan. 27, 2020; If your internet doesn’t work, you may pick up a copy of the magazine, which has the assignment.

Once you are logged in:

Your assignment is MAP SKILLS on page 11 of magazine (1-10)

REMINDER of WORD WALL #7 definitions and test over the words.  When we return they should be completed.  I will assign a new due date and test date when we get back. ALL THESE WORDS ARE FROM CHAPTER 9 WORDS (all the words that are in bold from chapter 9 are the same as the word wall #7 words)

WORD WALL #8- this is for the people who have completed jr scholastic assignment and Word Wall #7 already and want to get ahead.  You can start Word Wall #8 (it is the vocabulary words from chapter 10)  A list of the words are below:

LESSON PLANS 1-27/1-31

This week we will be writing the report over what project each student selected.  All students, have all the paperwork that explains what to do, along with due date paper that every parent signed.  Any questions please hit me with an email and i will get back to you as soon as I can.  PLEASE HAVE MATERIALS BY MONDAY/TUESDAY!!  CHECK YOUR CHILD’S FOLDER for all material and changes.

ALL MATERIALS ARE DUE MONDAY/TUESDAY- this depends on what the student selected to learn about.

MONDAY, TUESDAY, WED, THURSDAY- write your report; submit report to me by Friday 1-31.  Bring due date paper to me for me to check off that I received your report from google docs.

FRIDAY- All reports are due; BEGIN making project Monday.

ONCE the report is turned in AND I have signed off that I received it you may begin to work on project in my room.

MONDAY- Finish 6-2 Notes from Ch 6 handout; Read 6-3

TUESDAY- Reminder of Ch 6 quiz Thursday and Ch 6 OPEN BOOK TEST Friday; Start 6-3

WED. Finish 6-3 and fill in Ch 6 handout

THURSDAY- Take Ch 6 Quiz, Reminder of Open Book Test tomorrow, Do ch6 review pages 220-221 page 220 #4 (1-7) AND page 221 (1-6)

Friday- Take Ch 6 Test (open Book); finish and grade Ch 6 Review

LESSON PLANS 12/9-12/13

MONDAY- Turn in foldables- correct if late or inc by end of class; Read Chapter 6 Lesson 1 and complete page 201 (1-4)

TUESDAY- Cove Chapter 6 LEsson 1; Start Jr Scholastic- cover the need to use computer at JrScholastic.com to answer the colored maps.

WED. Work on Jr Scholastic

THURSDAY- Work on Jr Scholastic

FRIDAY- FinIsh and start grading Jr Schlastic

LESSON PLANS 11-4/ 11-7

MONDAY- Grade Chapter 4 Lesson 3; Reminder of Word Wall #4 due 11-21 TEST 11-22; Start Chapter 5 Lesson 1 over Canada.

TUESDAY- Continue working on Chapter 5 Lesson 1 and 2; Go over expectations while I am gone supporting the band Wed and Thursday.  We will grade Chapter 5 Lesson 1 and 2 material from packet Friday

WED/THURSDAY- SUB will have you working on Chapter 5 Lesson 1 and 2 from packet

FRIDAY- report from the sub will be addressed; Grade Chapter 5 Lesson 1 and 2 from Handout; REMINDER Word Wall #4 due 21 st and TEST 22nd.
